Winning awards or becoming a finalist only adds value to your business in establishing your brand and setting you above your competitors. The NABEC Business Awards, also an award winner after being recognised in the 2008 UniSA Division of business Community Engagement Award and received a commendation for the Chancellor’s Award for Community Engagement in 2009.
The 2010 Northern Adelaide Business Awards are held annually with support from strong partnerships with Government and the private sector, offering local northern businesses an opportunity to gain exposure to enhance their business.
While finalists can boast their achievements, there is the added bonus of potential media exposure and ongoing promotional activities and publications connected with the awards through NABEC and associated programs.
Prizes can come in all shapes and sizes and aside from displaying a certificate or acknowledgement on future promotional material, the NABEC awards offer winners, two half day business development workshops in Innovation conducted by UniSA School of Management. Finalists will be eligible for a half day workshop. Previous participants have all agreed the training was extremely beneficial to their business.
Taking time out to complete an entry form can seem like an ominous task for any business owner so once again NABEC have engaged the assistance of undergraduate students studying business management at UniSA. If you opt for this valuable assistance your business will be assigned two students who will work with you, understanding your business and assist with the completion of the application. Not only will you gain assistance, you will be giving the students first hand experience and development of their skills in evaluating a business, register early to gain the undergraduate support.
